Booking Pumpkin Patch Mini Sessions Now!
Yay! My favorite time of the year! Pumpkin candles, pumpkin spice, and pumpkin pictures!
My pumpkin sessions are scheduled on weekdays during September and October. Why not weekends? Have you been there on a weekend? It’s a pretty popular time of year to visit the Arboretum and at any given time on a weekend there will be several hundred people in the pumpkin patch. Great for Arboretum, bad for us. I’m great with Photoshop, but can’t promise I’ll be able to edit 200 people out of your photos! You will have strangers in your photos and most likely baby will be a bit preoccupied with all the people to look at. If you absolutely just cannot make a weekday, we can still talk! (Scheduling a full session where we hit the pumpkins for the first 10 minutes and then finding a secluded area for the rest is also a great idea!)
The session are scheduled for 20 minutes, but we can go up to 30 minutes if needed. It’s usually not, though! The little ones usually love it and it’s easy to get a lot of fabulous pictures in a short amount of time! Sometimes with siblings or if someone is having a bad day (not me!) we can go a little over.

How many outfits? Arboretum is very strict on their “NO clothes changes” within the grounds. Believe me, they called the cops on one of my sessions once for doing this! So let’s keep it to one outfit for the bigger kids. Babies can probably sneak in a change. Each year they do a fun theme in the pumpkin patch. Your session can follow that theme or not! I had fun last year with Wizard of Oz. As soon as I know this year’s theme I’ll let you know! It’s usually pretty tame and only takes up a part of the patch so don’t worry if you want no part of it!
Can we take family pictures? Of course! All pictures at pumpkin mini sessions are taken in the pumpkin patch. You are welcome to take family photos at this time with immediate family (mom, dad, children and grandparents) Any other family members (cousins, aunts, uncles) are $50 each.
How many pictures do I get? I don’t limit the amount of images I give you but a good expectation is about 10. I’ve had some galleries with as many as 20. Just depends on baby(s)! All images are fully edited!
