When Should Newborn Photos Be Taken?
The best time to photograph newborn portraits is typically between 5 and 14 days after birth. During this time babies are naturally sleepy and curl easily into those sweet newborn poses that parents love.
Because sessions are scheduled around your due date, most families book their newborn photography session during the second trimester to reserve space on the calendar.

Inara actually was an angel and slept the whole shoot till the last photo she decided to show off her beautiful big eyes. She has so many props and backdrops and is well prepared ahead of time for her sessions. She also suggested to us that we split up the session in two parts so it's not to stressful for our boy.
