There is something especially meaningful about a baby’s first birthday.
In just twelve short months, tiny newborn stretches become first steps, sleepy cuddles become giggles, and parents find themselves wondering how an entire year passed so quickly.
Recently, I had the joy of photographing this sweet family at a stunning boho-style greenhouse on a farm in Howe, Texas, just north of Dallas. Surrounded by natural light, lush greenery, and earthy textures, the greenhouse created the perfect backdrop for celebrating their little one’s first birthday.
While cake smash sessions are always a favorite way to celebrate turning one, family sessions can be just as special. A first birthday isn’t only a milestone for your child. It’s also a milestone for you as parents. You’ve survived the sleepless nights, celebrated countless firsts, and spent an entire year watching your baby grow into their unique little personality.
That’s why I love including the whole family in these milestone sessions.
