When you are ready to book your session, you will sign your contract and pay the creative retainer fee. From there it’s easy, we wait! As soon as baby is born you will reach out to me and we will schedule your session! We will also take this time and decide the type of family photos you’d like done at the session.
Booking
The day has finally arrived! You received your prep guide in your email during the week leading up to your newborn photo session! Your bags are packed and you are ready! My goal is to make the session as easy and stress free as possible for the new parents. On the rare occasion that the baby is super fussy and all my tricks are unable to calm them we will stop the session and reconvene on a new day. They are almost always 100% better when we do this!
The session
The Process
A $200 non-refundable retainer fee covers my time and talent during and before your newborn session. It also locks in your date so that you are guaranteed a spot on my calendar that no matter when baby decides to come. You will have access to my client closet and amazing collection of newborn props including headpieces, hats, custom handmade outfits, baskets, bowls, flowers, etc
My package includes your entire edited newborn gallery, you won’t have to choose which images to keep, they are all yours. I have packages that fit every need and special session add-ons that make it unique to your family. You may choose to do just a newborn or come to see me every month and document baby's growth!

I would recommend Dahlias and Daises to anyone wanting an extroidnary photoshoot! Inara actually was an angel and slept the whole shoot till the last photo she decided to show off her beautiful big eyes. Stephanie was well experienced with newborns and knew exactly what to do to keep her comfortable and asleep. She was amazing and cared about your opinions and what colors you preferred. She really captured what I wanted perfectly! She also has tons of outfits and props to choose from!

This is our second time using Stephanie with Dahlias and Daisies Designs for our Newborn photos. We drive from South West Fort Worth to see her which is over an hour and a half away. She is very gentle and takes her time to get a great photo and to make sure our babies are comfortable at all times. The photos always turn out just perfect

Stephanie was very good with our son, he has some special needs and has a G tube and she worked very well with him. She has so many props and backdrops and is well prepared ahead of time for her sessions. She also suggested to us that we split up the session in two parts so it's not to stressful for our boy. We agreed and thought that was a great idea.
